Cello Bow by Paul Siefried Port Townsend
Paul Martin Siefried was one of the world’s foremost bowmakers and a founder member of the American Federation of Violin and Bow Maker. He was born into an artistic family but hwne art school failed to grab his interest, Seifried turned towards leather goods. After discovering that violins were handmade, Siefried presented a handmade, leather bag as his portfolio and was accepted as an apprentice at Cremona Violin Makers & Dealers. From there he was trained in bow making and won so many awards the VSA competitions, that they invited Siefried to be a judge.
