Born in Strasbourg, Guillaume Kessler trained at the Newark School of Violin Making in England. The development of his workshop, Lutherie d’Art, guided him to specialize in bow making. Working alongside Florian Bailly, Guillaume deepened his knowledge of bow restoration and the French bow-making tradition of Mirecourt and the Ouchard family . Today, inspired by the great masters of the Belle Époque - Sartory, Lamy, Voirin - Guillaume creates modern bows that combine stability, comfort, and energy, designed to meet the demands of contemporary musicians.
