Violin bow by Roberto Cani

 Roberto Cani is an accomplished violinist and the current concertmaster of the Los Angeles Opera Orchestra. His passion for bowmaking was realized at an early age but was denied apprenticeship by a Milanese luthier, stating that the young Cani was meant to be a violinist instead. Cani continued his woodworking interest in the space of his home workshop while his playing took the lead in his professional life. Now, Cani's bows are available for sale and made with a players' intimate knowledge of bowcraft.
