Violin By Stella Yoo, San Francisco 2025
Built on a Strad model and finished in a pristine Cremona-style varnish without antiquing, the craftsmanship is excellent throughout. The sound leans toward the warm and darker end of the spectrum, with good projection and a resonant, responsive character that avoids any harshness or unwanted edge. This violin has a strong personality and rewards a practiced hand — a player who can meet it on its own terms will find a great range of color and expression waiting to be drawn out.
This violin is part of our La Forma del Suono Collection, introduced in early 2026.
