Caterina Rota Kim (Hyeonjeong Kim) is a violin maker and string instrument restoration specialist based in Cremona. She studied at the Cremona International Violin Making School (2009–2013) under Giorgio Scolari, Massimo Negroni, and Wanna Zambelli, then trained with maestro Claudio Amighetti in restoration of historic Italian instruments, including works by Ruggeri, Storioni, Ceruti, Gagliano, Bisiach, Bianchi, and Sgarabotto. Applying insights from restoration, she also crafts new instruments with enhanced acoustics. Her workshop is located at via Magenta 48, Cremona.
