Violin by Hee Jae Choi, Cremona 2024

Bright, focused, and direct, this violin carries a sense of weight in its sound that gives the middle and lower registers a full, well-supported presence. A subtle texture in the tonal quality contributes to its unique voicing and character. The instrument speaks easily to the player’s touch, offering clarity and immediacy of response. A fine example of work rooted in the Cremonese tradition, this violin will be displayed in the La Forma del Suono Exhibition in early 2026.
