Violin by Ian McWilliams, Berlin 2026

Responsive Warmth for Professionals

This violin opens with a rich, woody tone anchored by robust, deep lower strings, while the upper two strings bring brightness and clarity. A subtle texture throughout the middle and lower registers adds complexity and depth to its overall character. The upper register sings with a refined sweetness, and the instrument's exceptional responsiveness ensures that even the most demanding fast passages are delivered with remarkable articulation and precision.

This violin is displayed in our exhibition La Forma del Suono, comin in early 2026.
