Violin by Jihwan Park, Cremona 2024

This violin has a bright and open sound. It's tone is well textured and has plenty of depth; the upper register has a silvery and focused brightness. The violin is an immediately reponsive instrument that will be available during our "La Forma del Suono" Exhibition in early 2026.

Ji Hwan Park was born in 1982 in Daejeon, South Korea. His violin making career began in 2005 at the International Stradivari Violin Making School of Cremona. He studied under the guidance of the Maestro Liutaio Massimo Negroni for five years. After acquiring his diploma, he worked under Sung Hyun Park and Michele Dobner, where he honed his skills, built deep knowledge of violin making, and laid the bases for solid violin repair. Park opened his own workshop in Cremona, Italy in 2015. His instruments are played by professional musicians, amateurs, and music students worldwide.
