Violin by Milos Seyda, Cremona 2023
A masterfully crafted violin by the Hungarian maker, based in Cremona, Milos Seyda in 2023. This del Gesu patterned violin has it all. It is very tastefully and heavily antiqued and reflects the maker's intention to produce violins that are as visualy alluring as well as tonally attractive. This instrument has been expertly setup by our workshop staff and will be availble during our initial "La Forma del Suono" Exhibtion in early 2026. Bright easy response in all registers- an excellent instrument for all musical settings- pleasing charater and quality of sound in all registers- the bottom register has plenty of drive and the upper strings are focused and sweet without becoming brash. The sound is full and well rounded and this woud be a great instrument for an advaned level student or professional.
Milos Seyda, originally from Patagonia, Argentina, combines musical sensibility, a fascination with sound color, and a deep curiosity for materials. Trained as a cellist, he performed with orchestras in Argentina and Europe but soon turned to crafting. His violin-making journey began in Buenos Aires in 2010, followed by studies in restoration at the Cremona International Violin Making School, where he graduated in 2017. Based in Cremona since 2015, he has since continued refining his craft through specialization with internationally renowned luthiers.
